Grace Recovery Center Nashville is an outpatient addiction and mental health provider. You will find us at 1001 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206. We treat substance use disorders and the co-occurring mental health conditions that come with them. Care comes in three levels: partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. You go home at night at every level. We are accredited by the Joint Commission.
Our Story and Mission
Grace Recovery Center was created to help individuals and families facing addiction. We built it in Nashville for people who do not always look like they need help. Our clients include the executive who still makes every meeting and the nurse who cannot risk anyone finding out. Tennessee earned the name Volunteer State by showing up when it counted. We try to do the same, and our goal is to check in with you before you have to ask.
Our mission is to help individuals and families build lasting recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Care is personalized and evidence-based, and our clinical team delivers it in an outpatient setting. Privacy is part of every level of care. Many of the people we see have a career or a reputation to protect. A dramatic turning point isn’t required to start. You can start on an ordinary Tuesday.
Our Approach to Treatment
Untreated depression makes sobriety harder to hold. Active drinking or drug use makes depression harder to treat. Anxiety, trauma symptoms, and bipolar disorder follow the same pattern. Grace Recovery Center Nashville treats both sides together in one integrated dual diagnosis plan. Neither condition waits for the other to settle.
Our clinical team is intentionally small. Therapists, case managers, and medical staff follow your progress as it happens, with no formal handoff between them. Changes to your plan start when someone on the team notices something. You do not repeat your history to a new provider every few weeks. The people treating you already know it.
Grace means more time, offered again without penalty. In practice, it looks like a door that stays open after a hard week. A relapse does not erase your progress, and we plan the next step with you. Privacy gets the same respect whether your license, your career, or your rank is on the line. There is no deadline on healing.
Levels of Care

Partial Hospitalization Program
Our PHP is the most intensive level we offer. Sessions run 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, and you return home each night. Individual therapy, daily group therapy, and medical evaluations fill the schedule.

intensive outpatient program
Our IOP meets 3 to 5 days a week, with sessions that last several hours. Most weeks total 9 to 20 hours of therapy, leaving room for work, class, or family.

outpatient program
Our OP is the lightest level, with scheduled individual and group sessions built around daily life. Many people move into it after finishing a higher level, and an assessment can place you there from the start. Grace is not a medical detox provider, and we help coordinate detox when you need it.
Our Clinical Team
Our team has 14 members across clinical, recovery support, and admissions roles. Our clinical director also works as a primary therapist, and a second primary therapist works alongside them. A licensed professional counselor with 4 or more years of experience in co-occurring disorders rounds out the therapy staff. Intake coordinators guide your first conversation and your first steps.
Leadership adds depth in addiction care and compliance. Our program director holds a LADAC I credential, the licensed alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor designation. Our executive director has 7 or more years in addiction and mental health. Our director of clinical compliance has 13 or more years in addiction treatment and co-occurring disorders. Three peer specialists work with clients, and many others on staff also bring lived recovery experience.

Who We Help
We schedule care for college students around classes, exams, and the worry of falling behind. Healthcare professionals get discretion from the first conversation, which matters when a license is at stake. Many professionals and executives keep working through intensive outpatient and outpatient care, with privacy built into each level.
Veterans get clear structure and respect for their service, without having to explain rank or record. Young adults do not need to match anyone’s picture of addiction to qualify for care. First responders trained to push through can start care without explaining what the job has cost them.
Our Nashville Facility
Grace Recovery Center Nashville welcomes you at our location on Gallatin Ave. All programs are outpatient, so you come in for sessions and go home the same day. We provide individual therapy, group therapy, and medical evaluations here. Clients also travel in from communities across Tennessee, including Brentwood, Franklin, Murfreesboro, and Hendersonville.
Group sessions run with a consistent cohort, so the faces in the room become familiar. Familiarity builds trust, and trust makes honest sessions easier. Your weekly schedule stays set, so you know what each day holds before you arrive. You can come straight from work or class and head home afterward.

Where is Grace Recovery Center located?
Grace Recovery Center is at 1001 Gallatin Ave, Nashville, TN 37206. If you are driving in from outside the city, our admissions coordinators can talk through scheduling before you commit.
Does Grace offer detox?
No, Grace does not provide medical detox. When you need it, our admissions coordinators help arrange it with an outside provider. Afterward, we place you at the level of care your assessment supports.
What insurance does Grace accept?
We work with PPO, POS, EPO, and HMO plans from carriers including Aetna, Anthem, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Cigna. Self-pay is also an option. We do not accept Medicaid or Medicare, and coverage depends on your plan, so verify your insurance before you decide.
Do you treat relapse?
Yes. A relapse does not erase your progress, and your team looks at what happened, then adjusts your plan. The adjustment can include stepping up to a more intensive level of care.
Can my family take part in my care?
Yes. Family therapy and education are available in our intensive outpatient and outpatient programs. You choose when and how much your loved ones take part.
